NEST New York founder Laura Slatkin was inspired by the mesmerizing Voodoo Queen hibiscus that blooms in the garden of her Palm Beach home. Drawn to its striking colors reminiscent of a picturesque Palm Beach sunset, she discovered that the flower has an incredible relationship to the sun: its petals close when it sets and blossom as it rises.
